    Quotations

    Utilising your architectural drawings, we can produce a comprehensive timber frame quotation for your specific project. If you wish to continue with Cornwall Timber Build, we would then arrange a “meet and greet” to ascertain further requirements, timescales, budgets etc.

    This meeting will take place at our office or on site with your management team.

      In-House Design

      Once you are on board with Cornwall Timber Build and our official quote has been accepted, you will be handed over to our busy design office. This is when one of our designated in-house designers will start the design process.

      Liaising with your chosen architectural practice and appointing an independent structural engineer. Your timber frame designer will keep you involved with key decisions every step of the way – thus reassuring the client’s piece of mind before the manufacturing stage and construction of the timber frame super-structure.

        Timber Frame

        Cornwall Timber Build manufacture their bespoke timber frames to a very high standard. We boast about quality and are extremely proud of our accreditations – awarded “GOLD” status within the S.T.A (Structural Timber Association) with PEFC / SMAS / CQMS to also bolster the business.

        Insulation

        Cornwall Timber Build can provide an insulation package within their timber frame super-structure. Insulation is usually installed once the roof and windows are fitted. Our professional team of insulators will then commence work to ensure your home is insulated to the U-value / SAP calculation as requested. Insulation can come in a variety of styles from Celotex, Rockwool, Actis, and ISOVER to name a few. Cornwall Timber Build install all types of insulation to a high standard, and our teams carry out this procedure on a daily basis across Cornwall and Devon.

        Engineered Floor Joists

        Cornwall Timber Build can offer engineered floor joist systems to suit your specific requirements.

        I-Joists – Great for clear spanning large distances, light in weight, durable and very versatile. 
        Metal Web Joists – Offers a comprehensive range of depths, ideal for spanning large distances. A great solution for passing services through the open webs with ease without having to drill out or re-direct in any instance.
